Original Concept: Dragoness
Completion Date: May 2000
Aelynn was a fun character to design. The possibilities are endless
with four possible hair colors, not to mention what it might look
like as the seasons changed. The full body shot seen here is an
expansion of the original sketch I did. The alterations are slight,
but I felt she looked too somber in the original sketch, Aelynn
has a certain naivety to her that I wanted to portray. She's from
a wood elven culture, who don't have surnames like their more 'civilized'
elven cousins. So she is named for her birthplace, a forest so dense
the blue of the sky is seldom seen.. |
